For Weekends & Holidays Managers must work with each other and their directors to decide whether a field is playable.  This web site will not be updated on weekends as weather conditions may change too frequently for the web site to be useful.

REGISTRATION AND TRYOUT INFORMATION FOR SPRING 2011

Tryouts for 10, 11 and 12 year olds for Majors and AAA will take place at Mills Field on September 25^th from 8:30 AM through 5:00 PM…details to follow

Tryouts for 13, 14 and 15 year olds for Senior and Prep will take place at Memorial Diamond on September 25^th…details to follow

It's time to register for Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball for the Spring 2011
The season will begin April 1, 2011

1) Here are some points to remember regarding registration:

* To be eligible for the upcoming 2011 season the player must be in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Players must live in Needham, with one exception which is discussed in the next bullet.

* If the child lives outside of Needham but goes to school in Needham they may be eligible for our league, please contact Joe Stefaniak at jstefaniak@scansoftware.com  to discuss.

* Our fees will remain unchanged for the third straight season. For 2nd grade and up: $185 for the first child, $160 for a second child and $135 for a third child. For Kindergarten and First Grade: $125 per player.

2) Tryout information:

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AND FULLY PAID TO TRYOUT!

* Players who are 9 or younger as of April 30, 2011 do not tryout.

* Players who turn 10 on or before April 30, 2011 must tryout in order to be considered for Triple A. Players who do not tryout will be assigned to a Double A team.

* Players who turn 11 on or before April 30, 2011 must tryout in order to be considered for Majors. Players who do not tryout will be assigned to a Triple A team.

* Players who turn 12 on or before April 30, 2011 and played AAA last year must tryout. Players who do not tryout will be assigned to a Majors Gold team.

* Players who turn 12 on or before April 30, 2011 and played in GOLD Majors last year and wish to be considered for the BLUE Majors this year must tryout.

* Players who turn 12 on or before April 30, 2011 and played in BLUE Majors last year do not tryout.

Tryouts for the 10-12 age group will be held Saturday, September 25th at Mills Field (more details to follow).


* Players who turn 13 on or before April 30, 2011 must tryout in order to be considered for an option player for Senior League. All 13 year old players are assigned to a Babe Ruth Prep team.

* Players who turn 14 or 15 on or before April 30, 2011 who were NOT an option player or on a Senior League team in 2010 must tryout.

* Players who turn 16, 17 or 18 on or before April 30, 2011 do not tryout.

Tryouts for the 13-15 age group will be on Saturday, September 25th at Memorial Field (more details to follow).
