Baseball Programs, Fees, and Info

We are the non-profit organization operating in Needham since 1953 under charters granted by Little League Baseball, Incorporated and Babe Ruth League, Inc.

To play in our leagues you must live in Needham, however, if you attend school in Needham and wish to play, we will gladly apply for the required waiver from National Little League Headquarters and with their approval you will be eligible to play in our league.  Please email our League President (found here).

  • Spring Season (Little League/Intermediate/Big Diamond):  April through June for all K-18 year olds.  11 - 12 year olds are eligible to participate in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.​
    • Cost: K-A -- TBD.  
    • Cost: AA-Majors -- $250 for your first child.  $225 for your second child.  
    • Cost: Intermediates/Big Diamond -- TBD.  


  • Summer Travel Baseball:  Competitive "travel teams" play mid-June through July, for ages 8 - 15 year olds.​
    • Cost: $215 for U8 - U15. There are no multi-child discounts. 
  • Summer In-Town Baseball: Instructional baseball play end of June thru the end of July ages 6-7 year olds. 
    • ​Cost: $125 for U6 and U7.  There are no multi-child discounts.


  • Fall Travel Baseball: Competitive "travel teams" play September through October season for 8 - 14 year olds.​
    • Cost:  $175 for all players.  There are no multi-child discounts.

Refund Policy – Needham Baseball and Softball will refund any registration fee for any of our programs prior to the team selection process. After teams are selected, no refunds will be given.
1.  Season ending injury - The injury must be confirmed with a doctor’s note that must be e-mailed to the league president. The injury refund will be prorated based on the amount of the season completed as follows:
  • Prior to the start of the season -100%
  • Season start until ½ way point (calendar days) – 50%
  • After halfway point – 0%
2.  Summer Travel Baseball – the maximum refund is $150 unless the player withdraws before the winter clinics begin. However, summer travel is the same as all other programs – no refunds once teams are selected.

To register for one of our programs please go to the appropriate Registration tab located on the menu.  Note:  If there are no open registrations then no Registration tabs will appear on the menu.


Manage your account:

To update your contact and participant information use "Edit My Account" from the bottom of left menu. You wil need the email the league uses to contact you and a password.  If you don't know your password, just leave the field blank and click Sign-in and a temporary password will be sent to the email address that you entered.
