Congratulations to our Williamsport players in the American and National Leagues! 

These deserving players have been selected to the teams based on a vote of the Majors Division managers.  Root them on as they start on the road to Williamsport when they begin District 11 tournament play in Norwood on June 29.

ACT NOW for free sweatshirt!
 
Needham Baseball and Softball is pleased to announce the opening of registration for our Fall Travel Baseball programs.  Needham participates in two programs - The Newton East Little League program for 8-12 year olds (as of April 30, 2014) and the Norwood Diamond Club Big Diamond program, for 13-14 year olds (as of April 30, 2014). 
 
All players registering and Paid In Full by the deadline of August 15th will receive a free Needham Baseball sweatshirt.  It can be cold in the dugout on Fall evenings so this sweatshirt will come in handy.  But you must be registered and paid by the deadline - no exceptions.   
 
Registration is open now at www.needhambaseball.com.  Registration will close and teams will be formed on August 15, 2013, so register now!  After August 15th, players will be assigned only on a first-come, first-served basis where open slots are available.  It may seem far away, but register before the end of the school year to assure placement on a fall team (and a sweatshirt).

Congratulations to Dilin Meloni for placing 1st overall for the 7-8 year old age group at the sectional competition in Canton.

 
If they have one of the top 3 scores in New England, they will advance to the regional competition at Fenway.
